This is Mike Stone
I am proud to announce a deal has been made at the old Muff-It Muffler location. Starting June 1st League City Auto & Muffler will start conducting business. We will continue to provide the same if not better service than before. I (Mike) will be working part time in the office & doing custom exhaust. We will be opening on June 1st. With a grand opening soon after. Please come see me, meet the new owner & crew of League City Auto. We are looking forward to seeing previous & new customers. This is Mike Stone, i’m sad to say Muff-It is closed permanently. I used to own Muff-It Muffler from 1986 to 2020 since then I would lend a hand with the previous owners from time to time.
We had good times we had some bad, but we’ve always managed to make it. Muff-It Muffler started in Webster in 1984 close to the corner of Nassau Road 1 and Highway 3 behind that used to be the Shell station in a strip center. My family and I purchased it in July 1986. We bought some land, built the building that it’s in now and moved to League City in 1987. Where I worked there up until August of 2020. I have met some outstanding and interesting people in those years. Because of that shop, I have met all of you, and my lovely wife. I sponsored my own race car, two drag bikes, many car shows, several boating events on Clear Lake, Boy and Girl Scout activities and a few little league baseball teams. We sponsored a softball team that so happened my brother and I was on and we sucked. lol. We were a huge sponsor for Clear Creek Environmental Foundation for over 27 years…. I would like to thank all the customers that we’ve had in the last 42 years and to all the other shops that traded with us. I would like to thank the previous owner for everything that he did.
And to the employees for all those years of hard work if it wasn’t for you, we wouldn’t have made it this long. I am in negotiations for reopening the shop, something bigger and better. Thank you again for the wonderful 42 years from your friend Muff-It Mike!!!

COLD WEATHER!!! Was the anti-freeze good in your vehicle? If it was not, there will be signs of coolant leaking and if driven possible engine damage as well. Our staff is here to help. Coolant leaks can lead to overheating and possible engine damage. Frozen coolant in an engine can do major engine damage, i.e cracked blocks.
