Black Sheep Car Club

10/04/2026

Another great season has come to a close. Thanks to all who support our shows, and our efforts to include and better our community. We auctioned off our sign today and we were able to donate $1000 to a local car enthusiast going through a battle with cancer. Special thanks to the little man with the deep pockets from Automotive Evolution, who took home the sign two years in a row! Thanks to everyone who acquired one of our Sunflower shirts, and everyone who EARNED a Coffee and Cars shirt. It feels great to see so many people excited to join us. Give it a shot next year if you haven't.

Thanks again, and we'll see you next year!

P.s. Post any pics you took!

This next Sunday is the LAST Coffee and Cars for 2026. What a great season, and as always we hate to see it come to an end.

We will be auctioning off our courthouse sign advertisement and donating the proceeds. We will match the winning bid up to $500! Help someone by winning yourself an awesome wall hanger, or drive the bid up trying!

For those who don't win the sign, make sure to grab a Sunflower Fair t-shirt before they are gone!

See you Sunday!

We've got shirts from the Sunflower Fair which was unfortunately canceled, and we are going to try something fun since we have the manpower and plenty of supplies we didn't get to use. The focus isn't really about the money we have tied up in those supplies, but more so about money we didn't get a chance to raise with them for our annual charitable donations this Christmas season.

If anyone would like a SHIRT, DASH PLAQUE, SHOW RAG, and REGISTRATION BAG from the show that never happened, please prepare $25 CASH and send us a message with your SIZE and ADDRESS (La Porte and surrounding area within reason). We will accept orders from now until next Thursday(10/1) and a member from our club will hand deliver them Friday and Saturday. Then that SUNDAY is Coffee and Cars, and everyone can pick through the scraps and get what's left.

If you want one, send us a message! We'll update the page if we run out of a shirt size.

We'll see everyone at the FINAL Coffee and Cars for the season! As always, we appreciate the support.

Unfortunately, the Sunflower Fair has been canceled due to weather. That also means our car show is canceled.

Thanks to all who had planned to attend. While this wasn't our decision, we accept it.

More on this later.

Thanks

A DIFFICULT DECISION FOR THE SUNFLOWER FAIR 💔🌻

After closely monitoring the forecast, speaking with our event partners and consulting with La Porte County Emergency Management, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 27th Annual Sunflower Fair, scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, September 19.

With significant rain, thunderstorms and gusty winds in the forecast, we have serious concerns about the safety and overall experience of the event. La Porte County Emergency Management has advised us to cancel based on these anticipated conditions. With nearly 100 vendors, temporary tents, live entertainment, food vendors, family activities and more planned throughout downtown, we feel this is the responsible decision for our vendors, volunteers, staff and attendees.

We know this is disappointing — especially after all the time and effort so many people have put into preparing for this year’s Fair. We are incredibly disappointed, too. 💛

A tremendous thank you to our vendors, sponsors, volunteers, partners and everyone who has helped make the Sunflower Fair possible. Your support means so much to us, and we’re grateful for your understanding.

Unfortunately, the Sunflower Fair will not be rescheduled. However, we’re already looking at ways we might be able to create another opportunity for our vendors and community to come together this fall. Stay tuned 👀🍂

Thank you, La Porte, for your understanding and continued support. We’ll see you downtown soon. 💛

Saturday (9/19) is the Sunflower Fair!
Enter on Osborn St! $20 registration! 9-1PM!

This year we are taking it back to the streets, and NOT using the church parking lot- they have their own thing going on this year! We will utilize Michigan St. From Osborn to Harrison! Please help us maximize the number of cars that will be able to participate by parking in an orderly fashion. As always, a few club members will be there to assist. Ahem, If you'd like to park with your friends, then roll in with your friends! We apologize in advance if we get more attendees than we have room for!

Check out this year's SHOW SHIRT!

Check out these DOOR PRIZE insulated mugs!

Check out the handmade BLACK SHEEP AWARD!!

Come enjoy the festival and all of the fun to be had- THIS SATURDAY the 19th!!!

Had a great time helping out at Arts in the Park! We were busy! If you think our shows are well organized, you should see us in the kitchen!

Some of our members are volunteering in the Arts in the Park concession stand this Thursday night!

Stop by and say what's up while enjoying the music of the legendary Middle of the Road Band!
