Sorry I haven't given everyone an update on Buddy's progress. It's been such a personal endeavor over the past 6 months. Watching the 4600 Broncos in qualifying for King of The Hammers made me want to post an update again. We didn't make it out to the lake bed in Johnson Valley this year for the races but maybe again next year!

So what got done by Exodus... Buddy got a set of 74Weld portals which lifted the axles by 3.88" allowing us to keep the OEM suspension geometry unchanged! Slapped some 38" Nittos giving us a total lift of 5.38". We converted the rear suspension to a Rock Krawler Triangulated 4 link suspension allowing us to remove the OEM track bar. Added a RockJock rear anti sway bar for greater articulation. Switched out the steering rack to Ford Performance HOSS 3.0 steering rack and pulled out the internals and installed them inside a 74Weld housing. Then just some odds and ends.

It still fits in the garage (for now).

9/4 drop off scheduled with Exodus 4x4. Buddy going to spend about a week at "camp". Coming back much different. Been a long wait to be able to get this done!

Traveling through New Mexico. Half way to Hammertown and King of the Hammers. Burning Man meets Mad Max! Buddy is also getting a new lid and we can't be more excited.

Every Man Challenge is ready to run tomorrow. Can be seen on King of the Hammers YouTube page live starting tomorrow morning. In the meantime, here's a great documentary on the 4600. Buddy's livery was based on the 4600 Bronco!!!
