Thanks to the team at Station 8 Garage, the AMC Concord Panamericana has ditched the the carburetor and is humming along with a new fuel injection kit! The transformation is remarkable. Finding a shop that embraces work on old cars, and especially our AMCs, is not always easy. Please consider them for your next project. They do it all!

These should provide better grip and fit into our retooling of the Panamericana’s livery. We want it to be more reflective of AMC’s interesting racing history.

Well, it’s official. The Concord Panamericana made a (extremely) brief appearance in Stranger Things 5 - on the move! We had a blast on the day of shooting back in December 2024 and with the episode dropping, I think we can now safely share our experience with friends. It started the week before when we needed to appear for our initial costume fitting and hair cuts - hillarious because it was mostly 30-something’s trying to interpret for us what people looked like in the 80’s. “Lady - we were there and lived to tell!” 😉

It was a half day of costumes and hair, a full day of shooting, and an unbelievable experience for the Concord, Joe and Sean - and we were paid for the fun!
