Max's Mission

Max's Mission I decided that every year, around my birthday, my gift to the earth was to help clean it up. It was a “ton” of fun. I hope you join my “mission”

I started this organization when I was six years old because I was so surprised to see the litter on the side of the roads in my community and that people didn’t clean up after themselves. At our first event, we had a handful of my friends, parents and community leaders join me in my clean up. Last year we had over 80 people and we picked up over a ton of trash---even a part of a car, an air conditioner and lots of tires.

Help Max's Mission clean Gambone Track! Hope to see you all tomorrow!
Volunteers Needed! Saturday, November 7th is the Gambone Tract Environmental Education and Clean Up Day from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. The Gambone Tract is located on Wells Street, across from Cedar Grove Park. Ecologist John Munro will teach the volunteers about environmental education, identification, and proper techniques for removal of invasives. He will then lead the group in a hands-on clean-up and removal of trash and invasives at the Gambone Tract in order to begin to create a natural park and trail system for the community. This program is sponsored jointly by the Environmental Advisory Board and the Parks and Recreation Board. For more information, please call 610-828-7276.

Max's Mission will be cleaning Flourtown Road THIS Saturday, April 18th starting at 8am. We will meet in the parking lot of Whitemarsh Elementary and walk as a group with the help of our township police. See you all on Saturday at 8am.

We are excited to announce the 2014 Max's Mission event. On Saturday, May 3rd, from 7:30-9am we will be doing a community clean up on Germantown Pike near Plymouth Whitemarsh High School. We will meet in the lower (germantown pike) parking lot at Miles Park@730am. Please join us!
