AVAILABLE: 1975 Volkswagen Type 2 Single Cab Pickup

We've decided it's time for our Type 2 Single Cab to move on to its next owner.

Purchased by Milltek in March 2023 for $27,500, this Brazilian-built 1975 Type 2 Single Cab was restored and imported to the United States under previous ownership. Since joining our collection, it has primarily been used as a promotional and display vehicle, spending most of its time stored indoors at our Knoxville facility.

For those unfamiliar with these trucks, Brazilian-market Single Cabs occupy a unique place in Volkswagen history. While German production of split-window Type 2s ended years earlier, Brazil continued building them into the 1970s. As a result, trucks like this represent some of the final factory-produced split-window commercial vehicles ever built.

Finished in beige over a black vinyl interior, this example is powered by an air-cooled 1.5L flat-four paired with a 4-speed manual transaxle. Features include the oversized drop-side cargo bed with wood bed strips, under-bed storage compartments, sliding side windows, a split bench seat, white bumpers, and 15-inch Iron Cross-style wheels.

The truck was restored prior to our ownership and remains a clean, presentable example. We've added fewer than 100km since purchasing it and have trailered it to the majority of the shows it has been to.

Due to the limited use it's seen over the past few years, the carburetor would benefit from a cleaning before being put back into regular use.
