Do you need a job? We are looking for someone who is more interested in having a career but we will look at all applicants to find the perfect candidate! We know many businesses are hiring and we are one of them. But we aren’t fast food, we work desirable hours being Monday thru Friday 8-5, you have the opportunity to learn so many new skills, be treated with respect, work with a small close knit work family and have some fun while working. We need serious candidates that want a long term job/career. We are looking to hire a full time diesel mechanic immediately as long as you are the right candidate for this job. We are looking for the right candidate that is reliable, able to be to work on time everyday, take on a leadership role as the shop foreman, someone who takes pride in their job and performance, hard working, pays attention to detail, willing to learn, capable of working alone at times, flexible with working longer hours on an as needed basis, is knowledgeable with tools and has mechanical repair experience. We are capable of training the right candidate the skills that are needed for this job as long as you have the drive to learn and have some knowledge of mechanical repairs. The easiest way to apply for this job would be to come by the shop at 1601 W Potter Ave, Kirksville, MO 63501, pick up the application but if you have time you can fill out the application while there and spend a little time with Derek so that you can show him your skills/knowledge. Once we are able to see you knowledge/skills base line then we can extend our offer. If you are someone who is wanting to learn this new skill set we can also extend our offer to you but keep in mind as your skills are improved and gained upon we can always raise your pay. We do work with our shop doors open during the nice weather months but as it’s getting colder we will have our doors closed to keep our shop nice and warm so always call/text ahead of time or always come check to see if the office door is unlocked and open.
