🚨 EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT NO. 7: JAMES SIZEMORE 🚨
James joined Finish Line Towing in Madison on March 8, 2019, making him one of our earliest employees—and more than seven years later, he’s still here growing alongside us. That means James has been here long enough to remember when we had fewer than five trucks and worked out of a small parking garage.
Before joining our team, James served in the United States Marine Corps for four years. Long days, extreme weather, hard work, and helping people through difficult situations were nothing new to him, which made him a natural fit for the towing industry.
James started as a tow operator before transitioning into the shop as a mechanic, helping keep our fleet safe, reliable, and ready for the road. More recently, he reinstated his CDL and expanded his role again by assisting with heavy-duty towing and recovery work. There isn’t much James won’t jump in and help with when the team needs him.
James is also our “original James.” At one point, we somehow had about six guys named James working here, so the newer ones ended up with nicknames while James got to keep his name. Seniority has its privileges!
James is a great example of sticking to the plan and understanding that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side—the grass grows where you water it. Like any journey lasting more than seven years, we’ve experienced our share of ups and downs. Through it all, James has remained loyal, continued growing, and played an important role in helping Finish Line Towing become what it is today.
Outside of work, James has always been a dedicated family man. He works hard to provide for his wife and kids while still understanding the importance of balancing work, family, and fun. When he isn’t working or spending time with his family, there’s a good chance you’ll find him at a concert.
James, thank you for your service to our country, your loyalty to our company, and the many long days you’ve put in along the way. We’re proud to have you as part of the Finish Line Towing family and look forward to the years ahead!
