I'm back from vacation and back in my Sti. I'm really glad I ended up with because after a week away from my car... It's still ready to go.

Gone are the days of remembering to put it on a charger or face the consequences of a dead battery. Now I just get in the car and go.

Which is so hilariously idiotic, as we continue to modify these cars we get rid of the comforts... And try to tell ourselves that it's worth it. It's so much better to have this fully functioning battery with the weight savings.. if you are looking at any Antigravity parts, use blingstrom10 for 10 percent off.

Subaru'ing up through South Dakota. While I know the Outback looks are love/hate, the comfort and quality is absolutely amazing.

After spending 2k miles in this car over the last week... I came back thinking what else would I lug my whole family and things around as traversing the Midwest.

When's the last time you checked your parking brake? 🤔 It's ok, you can be honest and say never 😅

In order to keep your car from rolling down a hill or putting extra stress on the transmission it's good to have your parking brake set accordingly. And it's a pretty straightforward job.

-

You can also take this time to check the brake shoe thickness and that the cables are able to easily glide through their range of motion.

Do you stick to one or try them all? I seem to do an annual comparison and see if there is anything out there that is better. Right now I'm going through it again.

Though I often come out of the comparison more confused than decided. Which often leads me back to my old oil. Not pictured above I am currently using Ams oil euro 5w-40. Which I have been really happy with. But the cost is a tough pill to swallow.

I've been thinking of moving back to Pennzoil Ultra but time will tell.

Let me know what oil you have in your car and what got you there. I have watched many YouTube channels along with reading multiple websites.

And while I don't want all the fun to be removed from driving. When you are driving multiple hours per day with the family it can help reduce some fatigue and stress that comes from those long days behind the wheel.

-

I recently updated our 2026 Outback and had the ability to use it this last week and I can't get enough of it. The system seems incredibly well sorted and I did experience any issues over my 500+ miles of driving so far. It will warn you if it needs you to take over, but the system was able to do 90% of the driving once on the highway.

Looking forward to the next upcoming miles of my trip. Should be smooth sailing.

How do you protect your leather wheel and car products? Since picking up my steering wheel from
I have used .usa products to keep it protected.

In order to keep the leather looking top notch and protected from my finger oils, I reapply at the first sign of shininess or six months. Whichever comes first..

-

With that said there are a few other products that I use. First is their Interior detailer, followed by a coat of Leather coat and then Preserve.

Model Ts anyone? Forgot about this from last week, it sure was a good time.

Plenty of unique vehicles around at this Cars and coffee. Especially the wildly entertaining Model Ts with their unique factory options and just old school ways of doing things.

Plenty of other great cars as you can see from the last few images. Just not enough time to talk about them all. I also really enjoyed this piece of cardboard on this dash with many toggle switches.. 🙃
