You guys been missing me, huh?

😈There won’t be another one like the “Jackyll” this season on the set of No Prep Kings. The new configuration is one of the only screw blown EFI cars out there. Owned by fuel injector guru Jack French, the name is quite fitting!

Making another post like this is inconceivable to me. And I know it’s a little late, but felt it was a must to say that our hearts and prayers go out to Wayne Smozanek’s family and friends from everyone here at Crusty Nova Racing. The amount of grief and loss we have all experienced or seen since this pandemic began is not something, I think any of us could have ever imagined. My hope is that we all learn how fragile and uncertain life can be. So live life to the fullest with no regrets and be kinder than necessary when dealing with people. You never know what battle they are fighting or loss they are grieving, of which, you know nothing about. Be thankful for each day you are given because we aren’t promised the next. Go live your life with purpose and write your own legacy; stay out of other peoples business. And most importantly, count your blessings. Take the time to let the people who mean the most, know just how much they mean to you…You just might not get another chance!
RIP Wayne Smozanek

With heavy hearts, we send our deepest sympathies to the loved ones of Rusty Threadgill. We love seeing other different and rare cars or builds and this car was one of our favorites! You will be missed!
RIP Rusty 🙏🏼

I’m absolutely heartbroken to learn of Rusty Threadgill’s passing. He was as genuine and as nice as they come. I always looked forward to getting to see him and I know I’m not alone. You made a positive impact on this world and put a whole lot of smiles on a whole lot of faces, we’re going to miss you beyond words. I feel very fortunate to have met you and I’ll always look back fondly on those memories. Godspeed Rusty, until we meet again.

March 27th 2015 Andrew and I rolled into Memphis International Raceway for the Outlaw Streetcar Reunion, I’d talked to Wes Hardin on Facebook and on the phone but never met him in person. This man borrowed a Motorhome and bought it to the track for us to stay in!! This was the moment I met one of the nicest most outgoing person that became a brother to me.

Wes has been fighting stomach cancer for several years and a couple weeks ago suffered a sever stroke. Wes left this world Friday to be with God in heaven. He was a great father, son, brother and friend to everyone he met. You’ll be missed by everyone buddy, you’ve been a Great friend! I wish we would have had more time together here on earth. Godspeed Brother.

Mike still needs your prayers. Doesn't sound like he's got this virus beat just yet.

Mike still needs your prayers. Doesn't sound like he's got this virus beat just yet.

Hi everyone🙋🏽‍♂️. It’s the beginning of day 5 here in ICU and I just wanted to take a minute to tell every single one of you that I am reading ALL your messages and IM feeling your overwhelming prayers and massive amounts of love sent❤️❤️🙏🏽.
This by far is the hardest most grueling battle that I have ever been in in my long, drama rich, action packed life. It’s an emotional roller coaster ride with your body, mind and spirit.
I am taking small round wins at a time here and there but thank goodness there’s a multi time losers bracket because I have lost a few also. Yesterday was a bad morning but got better towards day in. I wake up every morning @ 330am to a blood draw and daily tests. They have already done a plasma transfusion, multiple steroid treatments, IV anti virus and even some trial stuff on me. The nurses here are REALLY on top of me and taking care of me. I’m hooked up to all sorts of monitors and wires that I’m constantly getting wrapped up in and getting rescued like a bad extension cord 😆
The whole key right now is staying off the ventilator 🚫 but in order to do so my lungs have to continue to recover so I can get off this high flow heated oxygen machine (sounds like a FuelTech part) which is 1 step above.
There are so many sick patients here on same ground level floor and it breaks my heart watching their families outside my window putting flowers and cards on their loved ones windows just outside.

I ask that you take a minute and read my words. This is not just any virus. Not everyone can “just get through it”. I’ve been sick since the 12th of this month and tbh the only thing I was focusing on was the fever and flu like symptoms that just make you feel bad. What I wasn’t thinking about was what this virus was slowly, silently and methodically doing to my lungs in the background while I’m just worried about getting a fever and body aches to go away. I just didn’t realize how much trouble I was in until possibly too late. It’s had a several day head start assault on my body when I should have come in much sooner.
I tell you this not to scare you but if it does it should. God knows I’m not the healthiest (I am sexy tho) 52 yr old drag racer but I’m also not the worst. This ain’t no joke folks so please for your family, friends and all those people that love each and everyone of you ... mask up, stay healthy and take precautions.
Nobody and I mean NOBODY wants to be dropped off at the front door to an emergency room just to walk in alone and wonder if you will ever get to touch or hug your family ever again.

Please continue your prayers for Willam and Lisa. Please keep the good vibes coming. I truly love and appreciate every single one of you.

Love Uncle Mike

Apparently, those who say that crime doesn't pay have never been a part of a catalytic converter theft ring. All jokes aside, there is big money in being a scumbag, even if it comes with the side effects of not being able to live with yourself. Luckily for all of us law abiding citizens, Deputies...
