A word of caution: I recently encountered a situation where someone was selling a used carburetor of mine on a page. I purchased the carburetor to ensure its quality and potential resale value, using PayPal for customer protection. However, the post was removed, and the seller failed to provide a tracking number. After investigating, I found a fake Facebook account and reported the incident to Facebook and PayPal, initiating a dispute. This experience could have happened to anyone, and I want to emphasize the importance of caution when buying used parts.
I was recently contacted by a potential customer regarding a Mark Sullens E85 Carburetor purchase. Upon reviewing a picture of the carburetor, I realized someone was misrepresenting my product. The carburetor had gasoline metering blocks and air bleeds, with only the front bowl being E85-compatible, bearing my sticker.
When purchasing used parts, it's crucial to verify authenticity directly with me to ensure you receive the correct product. Buying used can be risky, as you may not get what you expect, and when issues arise, my reputation may suffer. Fortunately, the customer in question can return the carburetor for a refund.
At Mark Sullens E85 Carburetors, we prioritize customer satisfaction, even when purchases are made through third-party sellers.
