The Elizabeth A. Eddleman Foundation The Elizabeth A. The Foundation was created by her family in order to promote and support the social causes that Liz was most passionate about.

Eddleman Foundation was established in honor and memory of Elizabeth “Liz” Eddleman who was killed, July 26, 2011 at the age of 22, in a tragic car accident when another driver ran a red light. Eddleman Foundation has been organized as a California nonprofit corporation that will award grants and donations to other nonprofit organizations that support and assist with the social causes that Liz was

devoted to in life. Specifically, the Foundation will look to organizations in Southern California that provide assistance and support in the following general areas:

• Relief for the distressed and underprivileged;
• Advancement of educational or science opportunities;
• Elimination of prejudice and discrimination in our society;
• Defense of human and civil rights; and
• Combating juvenile delinquency and substance abuse.

Thanks again to everyone that has so generously contributed their time and efforts to the establishment of the Elizabeth A. Eddleman foundation, your generosity and kindness speak volumes and our family is eternally grateful to all of you. Many of you have asked about making contributions to the Foundation and I wanted to take a moment to provide an update on our progress.

We are in the process of completing all of the necessary paperwork with the IRS and state agencies to formally establish the Foundation as a California charitable, tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) organization. We hope to have this processed completed by March of 2012. For anyone that would like to continue to receive additional information please send us your contact information so we can compile a private mailing list.

In the meantime, for those of you that have asked about making donations for the funding of the Foundation, deductible contributions can be made to the Elizabeth Eddleman Memorial Fund established at Schools First Credit Union, P.O. Box 11547, Santa Ana, CA 92711-1547.
