On behalf of the nearly 500 Jiffy L**e of Indiana team members, my wife Jennifer and I would like to thank you for allowing us the opportunity to help you take great care of your vehicle. Since we opened our first Jiffy L**e back in 1985, the vision we have for our business includes the following goals:
1) Provide the best preventive maintenance service in Indiana, focused on being quick, convenient, informative and professional in all that we do.
2) Hire, train, develop and reward the members of our “J-Team” who are willing to follow our procedures and live up to our high standards and expectations.
3) Use our buying power to care for your vehicle with high quality products, such as Pennzoil motor oil and Mighty Auto Parts, while maintaining a competitive price. But aside from all of our business goals, we believe that we have a duty to our Jiffy L**e team members to help them improve their lives, to take better care of their families, and to develop pride and confidence in who they are. To that end, we have challenged the members of our “J-Team” to set a series of personal goals to help them focus on making better decisions and achieving their goals. We do this, in part, through our unique “Growing People Through Work” program. Every other week, our C.O.O., Lonnie Hinkle, and I lead 3 hour seminars designed to coach and encourage our team members to improve their health, their finances, and many other aspects of their personal lives. We challenge them to be better parents, better children, better friends and better members of our community. We offer support in the form of tuition reimbursement, first time home-buying programs, college scholarships for their children, sponsorship and flexible hours for coaching youth sports teams as well as for volunteering their time to help in our communities. Many members of our “J-Team” have fought through significant struggles in their lives, and many are continuing to fight through their challenges. If you are so inclined, we would welcome you engaging our people in conversation, asking about their goals and hopefully encouraging them to keep taking the baby steps necessary to slowly improve their lives and the lives of their loved ones. We think Jiffy L**e is a very special place to work and we want our people to take pride in being part of our “J-Team”.
