The results from the event on Saturday night, September 5, 2026 featuring the Open Wheel Modified and Sportsman divisions on a night dedicated to the memory of longtime Speedway competitor Jonathan Wilson. Congratulations to Daniel Bradford who went to Window World Victory Lane in the Open Wheel Modifieds and Terry Ledbetter who captured the win in the Sportsman division.

The Legendary Huntsville Speedway will return to action next Saturday night, September 12, 2026 for the first of two Championship Nights featuring the Late Models, Super Stocks, Pure Stocks, Hot Shots, and Buzz cars, the INEX U.S. Legends Cars and Bandoleros along with the Everett Turner Construction Tennessee Pure Stocks in a special event. Pit gates will open at 3PM, grandstands will open at 4PM, with qualifying starting at 6PM and racing at 7PM.

Well another week doesn’t disappoint. At least it’s consistent with the rest of the year. Grateful for our Jeremy Goble - Alfa Insurance sponsor for this year to help us put our car out on the track every chance we got.
However, due to tonight’s events we will not be able to continue for the last two races or the season. This car has had the frame pulled to many times and she’s turned into a coke can and is way to limber on the front now. Pulling this out anymore is out of the question. Time to move on to our other cars and get them ready for the track next season.

Man what a crew! The team has been working together this week to find speed and efficiency. Couldn’t be anymore thankful for them working effortlessly to straighten out a few things that needed tweaking. 🏁
Our Jeremy Goble - Alfa Insurance car also had some cosmetic operations and finally today the front is more straight and yes adjustments have been made! Time to put it back to the test tomorrow and get some hardware 🤞!

🏁POST-RACE REPORT🏁

What. A. Night. 🔥

After laying down the FASTEST time in qualifying, the Jeremy Goble - Alfa Insurance #62 Buzz Car was disqualified from qualifying for not having the hood on the car after we had been working hard to fix an issue right before our run.

That took us from what would've been the POLE all the way to the BACK OF THE FIELD for the feature.

When the green flag finally dropped, things got wild immediately. The original start was called back after the front row jumped the start, and once we finally got racing, it was GAME ON.

Starting from the rear, we fought fiercely through the field, picking them off and working our way toward the front.

When the checkered flag flew…

🏁4th Place FINISH FOR THIS CREW!🏁

From fastest in qualifying → DQ → starting in the back → finishing 4TH.

We would've loved to have seen what this car could've done starting from the pole, but we're very proud of the fight this team showed tonight. We didn't load it up, we didn't give up, and we didn't let a setback determine how our night was going to end.

They sent us to the back. We drove it right back to the front.💪🏼🏁
