💚Mayday Alert for Lt McElroy💚

Northwood, NH - Lt. David McElroy has dedicated 43 years to Fire and EMS, beginning his career in his hometown of York, Maine. He currently serves as a Lieutenant and Safety and Health Officer with Northwood Fire/Rescue in New Hampshire. David has been diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer that has spread to his lymph nodes, liver, and lungs. He currently resides in Concord, New Hampshire, and is the father of a 39-year-old daughter and a 16-year-old son. Throughout his career, he has devoted himself to serving others and protecting his community.

As David faces this serious diagnosis, he is also experiencing significant financial difficulties. The challenges of his illness have placed an added burden on him during an already difficult time. After more than four decades of helping others through Fire and EMS, David now finds himself in need of support, so let’s get him the support he deserves.

💚Mayday Alert for the Wilson family💚

Summerville, SC - Firefighter Jacob Wilson of South Berkeley Fire in Berkeley County, South Carolina, and his wife Elaine recently received devastating news about their nine-month-old son, Gabriel. After noticing that Gabriel was not acting like himself, they took him to the emergency room, where doctors initially attributed his discomfort to constipation. When his symptoms did not improve over the following days, they sought further care at Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital in Charleston, South Carolina. There, Gabriel was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a form of cancer. Since his diagnosis, Gabriel has undergone his first round of chemotherapy.

As Gabriel continues treatment, Jacob and Elaine are doing everything they can to be by his side. His medical appointments and ongoing care have required the family to miss work, creating a growing financial burden during an already difficult time. Their focus remains on Gabriel's health and ensuring he receives the care he needs. The financial strain has added another challenge as they navigate his diagnosis and treatment, so let’s rally behind Gabriel and the whole Wilson family while they fight through this together.

Another prototype has arrived. This time with changes to lining to eliminate fraying, and a custom heavy tread sole to get us close to the originals. The sole has also been wrapped higher on the mid sole just like back in the day.

One step closer to CCI 3/4s

Once these prototypes are examined, we’re going to move into making the next round as close as possible dimensionally to the old firebreakers.
