Took the car to practice last night, got the sputter completely taken care of. A little more tuning throughout the night and the car is completely dialed in. Ran my best lap times so far and the car is a lot more predictable. Can’t make the race this week end but we are ready for the next one!!

Spent sometime in the shop this evening. Got #61 dialed in and the sputter is gone. Brought the zx6 powered cross cart in and got it going again. Both are now very angry cars!!

Here’s a replay from the feature where another car caught my rear tire. Neither of us felt the contact from the driver’s seat, and we didn’t realize it had happened until reviewing everything afterward.

It just goes to show how quickly things happen in close, wheel-to-wheel racing.

Chasing down Benny Perry in the feature, we entered Turn 1 just as the caution came out. Everyone lifted at the same time, and in an open-wheel car that’s when things can get interesting.

One thing you learn quickly is to avoid touching tires at all costs. If contact is unavoidable, you aim center mass for the nerf bars because wheels climbing wheels usually ends badly.

Thankfully, Benny Perry gave me a little “assist” that corrected my understeer and got the car pointed back where it needed to go. 😂 Thanks for the free steering adjustment, Benny!

Just one of those racing moments where both drivers did their job, avoided the tires, and kept it rolling. 🏁

Started P4 in the Turf Tire Feature at Gulf Coast Speedway and brought it home P7—my best feature finish so far.

The result doesn’t tell the whole story. Every lap is another chance to learn, get more comfortable in the car, and race against a tough field. We’re making progress every time we hit the track, and it’s starting to show.

Huge thanks to everyone who helps keep this car on the track and to everyone cheering us on. We’re heading in the right direction, and we’re just getting started.

Feature race got interesting!! A car spun right in front of me, Managed to avoid it and keep the car pointed in the right direction, and stay in the race. Sometimes the biggest passes aren’t on another car—they’re avoiding the chaos. 🏁💨

Started P4 in Heat 1 Turf Tire at Gulf Coast Speedway last night and brought it home in P3. We’re continuing to make progress with each race. Huge thanks to everyone who helps keep this thing on the track and to all of our sponsors for making it possible. On to the feature! 🏁
