Alonda’s 1997 Jeep Wrangler..

When Alonda first contacted us it was about brakes and fluids, just getting an old jeep moving again. After looking things over and talking about what really needed to be done things spiraled rather quickly.. in a good way.

A BDS Suspension make over happened…. Brakes completely rebuild…..
Aftermarket front fenders..

Even a full paint job to cap it all off and tie all the fresh work together. As we finish all final details.. here’s the reveal.

Ford Bronco’s…

We got a call saying they had heard we were the Bronco experts in the area. Experts? Mybe mybe not well let you all decided that one….

They were having stability and confidence issues getting down the road.

After a full inspection and evaluation of the suspension. We had made some suggestions and determinations…

Since the Bronco was already sitting on a 6” lift we swapped out all 4 shocks(we’ll add two more to the front soon) for Bilstein 5100’s. Energy suspension front/rear sway bar bushings. New ends links front and rear as well. Along with replacing bolth steering stabilizer shocks as well.

We wrapped all this up with an alignment of course to make sure she tracks straight down the road.

Double Din radios…

We got asked the other day if we could modernize a radio for a client of our with a 05 Trailblazer but they wanted CD capability still.

We told them no problem at all. We also got them a few extras.. phone mirroring, backup camra and an external Mic so they could have true hands free. Including making sure the steering controls worked as factory as well.

They loved it, what do you think?

Transmission replacements..

The Nissan CVT is arguably a hit or miss unit. To either love or hate them.. this one unfortunately bit the dust. One to many time run low on fluid which caused the band to overheat and stretch out.

We got in a low miles used replacement for it. Befor it goes back in, bolth output shaft seals will be replaced. As well as the filter and pan gasket. Once installed it will be filled with OEM genuine Nissan CVT Fluid.

No good deed goes unpunished they say..

A client of ours was helping someone stuck in a ditch.. unfortunately afterwards they learned that it put a lot of stress on their pinion in the rear end.

In this case it was cheaper and more time effective to put a used rear in, over rebuilding the existing one.

When we picked up the rear axel we noticed the pinion seal was leaking so we cleaned it up and put in a new one befor install.

Back on the road without clunking and grinding…

Brandon’s Mazda 3

We’ve been working with Brandon and his family for a good while now. Started off with some smaller projects and slowly worked up to some bigger one.

He had called us a few weeks ago inquiring about a clutch job on his Mazda 3. He had told us it was slipping pretty bad and needed replacement.

Apon removal of his clutch it was pretty evident it was smoked.. heat marks on the flywheel and extream glazing of the clutch disk.

We went back together with a new rear main seal while we were in there along with a LUK flywheel and Exeddy Clutch Kit(new disk, pressure plate, throw out/pilot bearings.

Dave’s F550

We’ve been working with Dave for some time now. Our first project with him was completely re-fabricating his weld on trailer hitch.

This time Dave wanted needed the front end redone along with all new Bilstein 4600 shocks all the way around. All new Motorcraft tie rod ends, Motorcraft balls joints and even a new Bilstein 5100 steering stabilizer.

As well we wrapped it all up with an alignment to make her ride strait down the road.

Ram ETorque!

Does/did your Ram ever have an ETorque failure? Where you sticker shocked by the price or how long it would take to get a replacement?

Well a new client of ours was and called around asking various places if they would rebuild them.. he told us her hear a lot of “no”…

Then he call us, we where very honest told him we have not had the pleasure of rebuilding one but we where happy to give it a go.. he then informed us we where the ONLY shop in the area willing to take on the challenge.

After one hell of a fight due to corrosion and severely smoked bearings we got it done for him.

Ford Mustang but not your 5.0.. let’s talk Ecoboost power.

Patrick came to us with the question, “will you install my own parts?” ABSOLUTELY!!

He had a few power mods in mind along with some cosmetic touches he wanted done.

We installed…
-upgraded front mount intercooler/charge pipe combo
-front and rear splitter combo
-triple guage pod(boost/oil/narrowband)
-underglow kit
-front grill inserts
-one step colder spark plugs

The 2.3 is now ready for more boost and a lot more power, Off to the tuner!
