My name is Mark Bauer, and I'm the owner of Gibraltar Contracting. We specialize in turning your vision into reality, whether that means a new home for your family, a new facility for your business, or anything in between. Over the course of my career, I've managed over 70 projects, ranging from new homes, to remodels, additions, and commercial build outs. I have managed every phase of a project including planning, permitting, budgeting, on site supervision, and final detailing. Quality is my passion, and I've learned that patience, an eye for detail, and efficient communication are the keys to achieving that. No company summary would be complete without mentioning our team of subcontractors and suppliers. The key word in this paragraph is team. Ultimately it's all the members working together that determine the outcome of a project. Note: The numbers discussed in this article were for a luxury bathroom remodel in the upper floors of a NYC high rise. So the costs are uniquely high, but the insights are still quite valid across the market.

While this is a tough question to answer, there are elements of a build that you can strategically focus on to reduce costs.
