The owner of this relatively new MDX was told at the dealer that the brake rotors and brake pads needed to be replaced at a cost of 600 to 800 dollars. The owner was complaining about a hissing noise when the brakes were applied.

When he called us, we knew.
There is no need to replace pads and rotors. The brake pads and rotors are just glazed, which is not a good thing. This reduces the braking performance. But this can be fixed with a simple treatment of just 200 USD.

Braking noise was gone after treatment. Don't let the dealer get smart with you. Call us Initial M first you will be saving and having the convince of being serviced at your home.

After riding and getting some experience with this , we found out that removing the seat is a slow process and problematic if you need to access the battery terminals. We are working on a quick release back seat with a waterproof storage design for all those owners of the cafe racer and out there. This will change the riding experience when having a pasanger and accessing the frame or tools without having a side bag.
