NETFLIX PRESENTS: A Mystery Hidden Behind the Dashboard.
A 2025 Range Rover Velar arrived with one simple complaint: itās losing coolant.
The dealership had already performed a pressure test.
Verdict? They couldnāt find the leak.
The case wasnāt closed, it was just getting started.
The Velar came to European Autohaus. We performed our own pressure test. The cooling system wasnāt holding pressureā¦ but there wasnāt a single drop of coolant under the vehicle.
No visible leaks.
No obvious failures.
Just a mystery.
Then our technician noticed something everyone else had missed.
The passenger side footwell.
Instead of carpet, it was a swimming pool of coolant.
The leak wasnāt under the hood, it was hidden inside the cabin.
Diagnosis: a failed heater core, buried deep inside the dashboard. A repair requiring roughly 16 hours of labor and the removal of much of the interior to access it.
This wasnāt luck.
