Took the panga about 70nm offshore yesterday. Shot our fair share of mahis, and headed in when the wind came up. Almost removed the outboard about 11nm from land on a monster log. Pulled up close and saw it had two different marks from bottom paint on it. 😬. All in all, a great trip. Planned to weigh in at the Species Meet, but wind and exhaustion got the better of us.

Thanks to and the for this beautiful blue water roller polespear. It’s a Carbon Fiber and Kevlar tube composition with 316 Stainless Steel connectors. 17-4 stainless steel injector and Magnetic slip tip. Can’t wait to get offshore and give it a try.

Got out for a quick ride after work and before the thunderstorms hit. Managed to put a hurting on some bluefish with my #1 fishing buddy just as the lightning arrived. Great times on the panga. @ Shinnecock Bay
