A few weeks ago I showed you a Mercedes with more than 90,000 miles and asked whether the odometer alone would keep you from considering it.
Now letās make the question a little harder.
This is a 2024 Honda CR-V EX with 68,113 miles.
Yes...68,113 miles on a two-year-old vehicle.
For a lot of buyers, that number alone would end the conversation.
But hereās the twist:
It still qualifies as HondaTrue Certified.
No accidents or damage reported to CARFAX. Nine service history records. And as part of the certification process, it goes through Hondaās 182-point inspection.
Would I buy a high-mileage vehicle simply because itās certified?
No.
Iād still want to know how it was maintained, how those miles were accumulated, what condition itās in today, and what the inspection tells me.
But this is exactly why I keep saying:
Mileage tells you how far a car has been.
Maintenance tells you how it got there.
So now Iām curious...
Would you consider a two-year-old CR-V with 68,113 miles knowing it qualifies as HondaTrue Certified?
Or does that odometer still scare you away?
š Iād love to hear where you draw the line.
