Venues for NTAXS are not looking good for 2021. We’ll plan to take 2021 off, unless something comes up. We hope to see you in 2022.

I just wanted to give a quick update on the NTAXS schedule for 2021.

Excluding actual road course racing tracks, we are down to just two autocross venues in DFW, right now -- Texas Motor Speedway Bus Lot and Lone Star Park.

LSP is planning to hold horse racing events in 2021, so the lot is not available during the horse racing season, which significantly decreases the availability. On top of that, they only rent us the lot on Sundays, so that decreases the availability event more. With all other clubs' scheduled events at LSP, there is no reason to hold even more with NTAXS. Plus, there arenot any dates available.

That brings us to TMS, which is the only venue left for NTAXS in DFW. TMS is still working out there plans for renting the Bus Lot to autocross clubs for the 2021 season. I do not know when they will give us a decision or what the requirements will be. All we can do is stand by. If or when they provide us with an approval and usage info, then NTAXS will create a schedule and plan events.

If TMS does not work out for 2021 and there is no other suitable venue, then NTAXS will not have a 2021 season.

The 11/22 autocross is full, but the waiting list is available. Just register via the link at www.ntaxs.com as you normally would and it will add you to the list. If selected, you will receive an email with payment instructions for finalizing your registration within the next x hours. Note that the times on the email are Eastern. We tend to get pretty deep into the waiting list for each event, so do not let it discourage you.

So far, the 11/22 autocross is on. I have the insurance and the site is paid. Just working on the permit with the city.

Sorry, folks, but the October 17 NTAXS autocross is officially cancelled. TMS is not ready to open to us, yet. We will forgo the October event rather than re-reschedule, so we will see you all at our November 22 event. Registration opens on November 5.

Sorry, folks, but the August 29 NTAXS autocross is officially cancelled. TMS is not ready to open, yet. We will forgo the August event rather than re-reschedule, so we will see you all at our October 17 event. Registration opens on October 1.

Sorry, folks, but the June 27 NTAXS autocross is officially cancelled. TMS is not ready to open until July. We will forgo the June event rather than re-reschedule, so we will see you all at our August 29 event. Registration opens on August 13.

Sorry, folks, but the May 9 NTAXS autocross is officially cancelled. We discussed this with TMS and there are still too many open issues. We will forgo the May event rather than re-reschedule, so we will see you all at our June 27 event. Registration opens on June 11.
