🏁 A LEGEND HONORED IN THE HALLS OF CONGRESS 🏁
On June 18, 2026, a bipartisan group of U.S. Senators came together to honor the life and legacy of NASCAR icon Kyle Busch, passing a resolution recognizing one of the greatest competitors the sport has ever seen.
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Kyle Busch built a career that will forever be etched into motorsports history. A two-time NASCAR Cup Series Champion, Busch amassed an incredible 234 victories across NASCAR’s three national touring series, including 63 Cup Series wins, 102 O’Reilly Auto Parts Series wins, and 69 CRAFTSMAN Truck Series victories. His 19 consecutive seasons with at least one Cup Series win remains one of the most remarkable achievements in NASCAR history.
But Kyle’s impact extended far beyond the racetrack. Known for his fierce determination, unmatched talent, and willingness to put on a show for fans, he earned the respect of competitors and racing enthusiasts alike. Away from the spotlight, he embraced his role as a devoted husband, father, mentor, and ambassador for the sport.
The Senate resolution highlighted not only his championship accomplishments but also his commitment to family and his dedication to helping guide the next generation of racers, including his son, Brexton, whose racing journey Kyle proudly supported every step of the way.
Kyle Busch passed away on May 21, 2026, at the age of 41, leaving behind a legacy that transcends wins and championships. He leaves an unforgettable mark on NASCAR, the state of Nevada, and the countless fans whose lives he touched throughout his remarkable career.
