Effective January 1st, 2025 the state of Texas no longer requires vehicles to have safety inspections before renewing your registration. To answer a few questions we’ve gotten on this topic this month:

1.) We can and we will still inspect your vehicle to make sure you’re safe on the road! We are currently unable to give you any kind of paperwork showing the inspection but we can give you the peace of mind knowing everything is safe!

2.) If your registration renewal was at the end of last year but for some reason you were unable to do it before now you will NOT have to have an inspection. The state will renew your registration without it.

3.) The only vehicles/trailers still requiring any kind of inspections are DOT vehicles. We do not offer DOT inspections at this location but our shop in Cuero, Engine Service Truck & Trailer Repair does.
