American Drifter Motorcycles is so thankful for the opportunities that have presented themselves to us over the past year. One in particular stands out to us on this day. In October of 2010, we were approached by Nashua Harley Davidson to do a special project for one of their customers, Tommy. Tommy was seriously ill from complications arising from a flu shot. Tommy, faced with possible death, was distressed over the fact that all he had left to leave his 17 year old son, was his 1983 Shovelhead Bagger, and the bike was in need of A LOT of work. Nashua Harley was unable to do the project due to the age of the bike and Tommys limited funds. We agreed to perform the work at absolutely no charge to Tommy. Goodhues Powdercoating of Derry, NH also donated their services at no charge. Then, much to everyones excitement, the renowned bike builder/painter, Dave Perewitz, provided an eye popping paint job. Furthermore, he appeared at the presentation of the bike on May 7th. We were very happy and proud to do this complete teardown and rebuild to help a brother rider in need!
