Quick post lunch chores !
Tilton brake bias adjuster installed and secured to the leg board.
#2 Battery cables, cut, crimped, heat shrinked and installed low to the right.
Cable lug covers should be here this afternoon.
Seat blower fan mounted, maybe after dinner I'll install the carbon seat duct to it.
But for now, it's freaking hot in SC and I'm taking it easy.
Where's that cool a$$ football weather at ?

From building Thunder in the afternoon to harnessing Lightning in the evening.
It's definitely been a full day.
Used the TIG to fusion weld some nut plates to the top of my battery hold down allowing me to locate the SB connector there.
I also fabricated a keyed ground Lug bar to total isolate the batter power when transporting.
Many of the older Banjo and Hutch chassis use the keyed battery disconnect to isolated the ground circuit of the electrical system.
Unfortunately, the way that's designed it's flawed.
Constantly using the switch physically loosens the mount.
I milled a piece of .125 wall tubing down and welded a solid sleeve to the mount end.
I think it came out well and prevents tge switch body from moving once torqued into place.
Also cleaned up a set of clamp on fire bottle mounts.
Tomorrow, I'll bolt them in and run the discharge hoses.

Finished wiring up the dash in CoT Impala.
Completed and integrated the gauge signal and power harness.
Mounted the HDP20 plug and Alternator quick disconnect in a new panel I made for the firewall.
Fabricated all the battery cable with new lugs & #2 cable throughout the car.
A lot of people have messaged asking what I use to fabricate my own harness.
The same stuff used by many teams for the last twenty years.
Tyco Deutsch connectors, Raychem DR25 heat shrink, AutoMeter gauges, Ashcroft transducers, Honeywell breakered switches, Tefzel wire, GXL / TXL wire, tin coated copper terminals and a quality crimper.
Don't use those garbage plastic insulated wire terminals.
Far to many times I've seen people use them on their "Restored" stock car and just created a spliced and chopped up abomination of what they call a wiring harness.
Those plastic insulated terminals are prone to improper crimping and failure.
Don't be cheap and end up burning your car to the ground.
