Doing some paint work today…
This is the original gas tank from the Honda CL175. I restored it and painted it French Blue with a Blue Pearl clear coat.
It’ll be up for sale soon!

Finishing up the rear fender

A little bodywork: I took 2 steel bobtail fenders and split them. One for the Sportster build and one for the Shadow build. I took out some from the center of each so the fit properly, drilled holes for mounting and trimmed each to the right length.
I added a ridge using some small square steel stock from the hardware store to the rear fenders for the sportster so it will match the ridgeback on the gas tank.
A little bondo to fill in gaps, now I’m sanding, shaping, doing some touch up work preparing for some primer.
