25 years ago the first Outbound sailboat was delivered. It was the Outbound 44, designed by Carl Schumacher for serious sailors who wanted a quality, reliable sailboat that was capable of crossing oceans and sailing long distances. The Outbound 44, the precursor to the popular Outbound 46, proved to be an exceptional offshore cruiser and exceeded its expectations as a bluewater cruiser for experienced sailors who required performance, safety, and comfort at sea. In the spirit of true offshore sailing and in conjunction with the Outbound Yachts 25th Anniversary, we are excited to announce the return of the Outbound 44.
