WELL… HERE IT IS. 👀

Yesterday I told y’all we did something NOBODY that follows Wastin Gas Garage would’ve ever expected us to do…

And judging by the comments, y’all had some pretty damn wild guesses. 😂

Well, the wait is over.

What followed us back to the shop on that trailer is…

A 1965 FORD ECONOLINE VAN. 😳🔥

Yep.

A FORD.

A VAN.

At Wastin Gas Garage.

I know… I know. 😂

It may not be everybody’s favorite, and hell, it’s definitely not what you’d normally expect to see rolling into our shop. But there’s something about this old girl that got me.

That patina. Those lines. That old-school look.

And if you grew up around these things, you probably have a few memories of your own. As a kid, there was always one of these old vans around somewhere—family trips, hauling stuff, riding around with somebody, or just seeing one parked down the street.

Sometimes you don’t bring something home because everybody thinks it’s cool…

You bring it home because it takes you back.

So yeah… Wastin Gas Garage has officially gone and done it.

WE BOUGHT A FORD. 😂😂😂

Now let’s see what kind of trouble we can get into with this one.

Well today I went and did something NOBODY that follows Wastin Gas Garage would EVER expect us to do… 😂

And somehow, against all better judgment, something followed us back to the shop on a trailer. 😳

Yep… you read that right.

A TRAILER.
A CAR ON IT.
AND WE BROUGHT IT HOME. 🤣

I know what y’all are thinking…

“Wastin Gas Garage bought another damn car?”

Well… maybe. 👀

“Is it old?”

Probably.

“Is it cool?”

Absolutely.

“Did it need to be trailered?”

Let’s not talk about that part. 😂

Now the question is…

WHAT THE HELL FOLLOWED US HOME?!?

🔥 THE 1960 EL CAMINO IS GETTING CLOSER! 🔥

Well, we finally got this ole power plant set down in the 1960 El Camino! 😎🔧

Now comes the fun part… rebuilding some carburetors and seeing if we can wake this old girl back up! 🛠️💨

You know how it goes around Wastin Gas Garage… “it should be a pretty quick job” usually means we’ll see y’all sometime next week. 😂

Well boys… we’ve done it again. 😂

We just picked up a sweet ’66 Impala SS Convertible and apparently somebody around here forgot to tell us we already have enough old Chevys. 🤷‍♂️

But let’s be honest… when a ’66 SS convertible comes along, you don’t ask questions.😎

This one is gonna be a whole lot of fun. We’ll get her cleaned up, sorted out, and back where she belongs… out on the road with the top down and the radio turned up!

Because around Wastin Gas Garage, we don’t collect cars…

We just accidentally keep buying them. 😂
