She’s getting close… 🔥

This red hot 1960 Impala is about ready to get back where she belongs—out on the road instead of sitting in a garage collecting dust.

She’d been sitting way too long, so we had to wake her up the right way. We knocked out a long list to make her dependable again:
✔️ New carburetor
✔️ New starter
✔️ HEI distributor
✔️ New plugs, plug wires, cap & rotor
✔️ New alternator
✔️ New gas tank & sending unit
✔️ New brake light switch

But around here at Wastin Gas Garage, just getting one running isn’t enough…

We had to do what we love most… PUT ’EM ON THE GROUND! 😎

So she also got:
⬇️ Air Ride
🛑 Front disc brakes
⬇️ Drop spindles
🔧 New tie rods

She’s getting closer every day, and it won’t be long before this ’60 is laying frame and cruising the streets where she belongs.

That’s what we’re all about—bringing these old classics back to life and building them to be driven.

🎸🔥 ALSTON STREET BASH IS BACK! 🔥🎸

Hey cool cats and hot rod heroes, mark your calendars for Saturday , June 20th!

Join us at Cheeseburger Randy’s in Downtown Foley starting at 4:00 PM for another evening of classic rides, good friends, cold drinks, and plenty of bench racing.

🎶 Good Times

Then at 7:30 PM, we’re firing them up and rolling out for a cruise! Join the pack as we hit the road and make some noise the way car folks were meant to do it.

Whether you’re bringing a show car, a daily driver, a project that’s still held together with zip ties, or just coming to hang out, everybody is welcome!

So shine ’em up, gas ‘em up, and cruise on down to Cheeseburger Randy’s for the Alston Street Bash!

We just finished installing a modern A/C system in this 73 Country Sedan, making sure it’s ready for those hot summer days and warm South Alabama nights. Now the family can enjoy the ride without melting in the seat while heading to the cruise-ins, burger joints, and beach runs.
There’s nothing wrong with keeping a classic looking old-school while enjoying a little modern comfort. Cold air, comfortable rides, and more reasons to get out and DRIVE these old cars instead of leaving them parked in the garage. Don’t hide ’em… DRIVE ’em!
