This week we're highlighting a fitting that's not commonly needed but when that occasion arises it's nice to know this option exists. When building a custom radiator for your MK4/5/6/7 you may want to retain the OE quick disconnect fittings and these weld-ons allow you to do so. Machined from 6061 with a long enough extension to get a good weld seam but short enough to not push your hoses out.
Though not listed, we also can machine these weld-ons in the smaller size to match the heater core connections

Some coolant pieces for a 16v head on a 1.8t block. Converted the oil cooler to 8AN. Built an 8AN coolant fl**ge with M12x1.5 sensor port and a 16AN thermostat housing. Both were built using fl**ges we offer on our site 😉. Lastly, we formed some 0.5" Aluminum tubing to plumb the coolant bypass.
