Ok, night time lighting question...

If you have a travel trailer, do you leave any dim outside lights on at night while at a state park?

I enjoy walking around at night, typically in WI state parks, and looking at people's cute lights. We're up in MI at McCarthy Beach State Park and no one has any lights on, except our little lights hanging from our awning. Not even the porh lights or LED strips. Is night lighting not a thing anymore, or just not in Michigan? Or is it faux pas suddenly?
