June was National Safety Month!

At the Archbold Plant, we spent the month raising awareness and encouraging everyone to make safety a priority. This year, our main focus was near-miss reporting through our D.A.S.H. - Detecting A Safety Hazard campaign.

We challenged each shift to report near misses, with a pizza party going to the shift with the most reports!

Congratulations to A-Shift for winning!
We also broke our monthly safety observation record with an incredible 51 reported observations!

Each week focused on a different safety topic:

Week 1 - D.A.S.H.
Daily hazard-spotting activities and prizes went to Brittany, Lori, Yolanda, and Meagan.

Week 2 -Fire Safety
Congratulations to Clara and Michael on their activity wins!

Week 3 - Severe Weather
Congratulations to Sean and Sandy!

Week 4 - Heat Stress & Ergonomics
Congratulations to Maria and Rose! Employees also enjoyed cooling towels, bandanas, and a slushie machine in the breakroom.

Paperclip Guessing Contest
Congratulations to Sean, who guessed 256! The actual count was 266.

Safety Slogan Contest
Sanoh-Archbold submitted 12 entries, with two placing in the top two spots!

What a day at the Archbold Employee Picnic!

We had a little something for everyone, from delicious treats at Eric’s Ice Cream Truck to a bouncy house, games, and activities for kids and adults! There were tons of door prizes up for grabs, but the grand prize definitely stole the show: a trip to Cedar Point with a stay at The Breakers Hotel!

A big thank you to everyone who came out, joined in the fun, and helped make this picnic one to remember!
