A friend and customer approached me with a request to replicate the Buster sword from the Final Fantasy video game.

To achieve this, I crafted the sword at a 50-60% scale, ensuring it remained somewhat manageable in terms of weight (ended up coming out at around 38 lbs)

A custom display stand was also created to accompany it.

The sword received its initial black powder coating from 59 Finishing, after which I applied the custom paintwork, handle grip and refined the cutting edge.

What do you do if you want something made a certain way but they just don't make it.

I had a customer ask for a post pounder but he doesn't like any that are for sale in the stores.

Requirements were for the post pounded to be around 3' tall and weight around 50lbs but not top heavy and be able to drive a 2-1/2" round pipe.

This can drive up to a 3-1/2" pipe, weighs just over 50lbs and the weight is nicely balanced
