Who all has been to the War Eagle Mill?
Pretty awesome place yo visit of you haven't been!
Nestled along the serene waters of War Eagle Creek east of Rogers, AR, War Eagle Mill beckons explorers to immerse themselves in its rich history and breathtaking surroundings.
Dating back to 1832, War Eagle Mill has weathered the tests of time, surviving three instances of destruction - floods and fires (even one by Confederate soldiers). Yet, like a resilient phoenix, it stands today as the sole remaining operational waterwheel gristmill in Arkansas, weaving a tapestry of history and functionality.
Beyond its historic grindstone roots, War Eagle Mill thrives, grinding grain and offering an array of organic foods, from cornmeal to delectable jams and jellies. But it's not just about sustenance; the mill calls with an enticing gift shop, and glimpses into its storied past.
