A little throwback Thursday to our Norcal days, and I had 2 64 Buick Skylarks!
We sold them before we moved, but these went through multiple stages of plans, including the first becoming a 24 hours of lemons car "which is why it's black and gold," then it transitioned to becoming the faster bracket car than the nova before we ended up selling them both.
Fun fact: the brakes on my nova now actually came from these cars, as well as the diff cover, the engine in my dad's 72 nova, as well as numerous other parts. I wish I still had one of them, though. Maybe I'll find another one we can build a pro-touring car out of eventually.
Buying and having old school muscle cars that are the cheaper odd ball ones is how you learn to work on this kind of stuff. You can only watch and read so much before you just have to do it.
