I thought it would be cool to ask our members to submit pictures of their cars to be considered to be the pages profile and cover photo.

We will try to remember to change monthly…. So with that said… submit the best photos of your rides for consideration!

Hello everyone who is a member of the page. A few of us felt like the meet thing was getting difficult to schedule and at times was cumbersome to make work. We thought we would try doing a cars and coffee thing.

Other towns have had great turnouts for this.

We are going to try this a few times and see what the response is amongst our group.

Luckily our friends at Hattie Jo’s in Ellsworth has been receptive to giving this a try.

Hattie Jo’s offers plenty of coffe drink options and some delicious breakfast items.

I (Anthony) will be out of town the weekend of this event but I hope we can make this a bi weekly thing, or even weekly if everyone likes it….

Please spread the word to those that may not be on this page or Facebook.

Update! Additional details.

Car club friends. Anthony Lamia passed away Friday and the family would like some of our cars to be a part of the service.

The funeral is Saturday at 10 am at St. Pauls UCC in Holyrood followed by burial service at the Kanopolis Cemetary. Meal to follow.

The family has requested if you can’t make it to the funeral if you would park your classic cars on the “low road” by the legion, Jenny and Jeff Freeman’s house we would like to have a small car show in honor of Mr. Lamia after the burial at the Legion / Kanopolis community building.

We will be having a cruise in this Saturday at the State Farm office.

We will plan to eat about 6. Burgers and dogs are taken care of. Please bring a side dish, chips or drinks, condiments…

Plan to eat at 6 til ?
Then cruise over to EW around 7:00. Cruise route will go by the prison and Good Sam then end up back in Kanopolis
