While waiting on some parts we’ll work a little more on the ‘Goose. Upgrades lead to more upgrades- Dome pistons and a HaterMaker II camshaft requires valve train upgrades. Tick performance valve springs with titanium retainers, Comp Cams guide plates, 7/16” ARP studs, and 1.6 roller rocker arms.

In today’s direct-injected engines, a clogged injector can cause the engine to run lean. That means your exhaust valves get too hot, and that’s when cracks start to form. We caught this issue for a customer before it led to bigger damage!
