CAMPER CARAVAN FOR HELENE VICTIMS!! Who can help????

After returning from East Tennessee/W. North Carolina I see such a need for temporary housing, something better than a tent. I took a small pop-up camper , a 1986 coleman, good shape(we had imounded 4 yrs ago(yes I’m co-owner of a towing company)to a fire department in Elk Park, NC. The fire chiefs eyes lit up when he saw it, and he knew exactly what family it would go to, a family of five had been living in a tent for a week, the weather was on the verge of getting in the 30s. On my way home and a couple days after, I thought why not take another and another and another. Let’s see where this goes, if you have a camper or if you would like to donate funds towards a camper, we will be making another run to that area the first part of November. Would like to have them live in ready as well with sheets, pillows, blankets, generator, heat source, cookware, solar lights, etc.; ready to live in temporarily; they may not get electricity for some time, even if they do, they don’t have a livable house or no house at all. Well last month we said goodbye to the truck that started it all. Hopefully the new owners get plenty of life and usage out of an old, but reliable, work truck. It was the first truck we ever had it has been through the ringer with us, but it always made it out of the mud and kept going. Now it gets framed and hung on the wall.
