I knew as I was throwing it away. I should’ve checked the old radiator for any carry over parts. Oops 3-D printer to the rescue some quick bushings were printed out.

Oh yeah, and I wish the worst possible outcome for the individual that designed the LR3 radiator position. That was a pain to remove and refit.

The Defender was perhaps the last vehicle in the Land Rover catalog with a solid brand identity. We all knew what the Defender was designed to accomplish. The defender stood firmly on the spectrum as a rough and rugged vehicle with little compromise for comfort or modern amenities. Just looking at a Defender inspired adventure and exploration. Now, I am not so sure.

Exterior looks aside, I am sure the design will become more attractive in time. Land Rover vehicle styling always improves with age. The only saving grace would be if the performance is bullet proof and can deliver 200,000 plus miles of worry free performance. What do you think the chances of that are with 85 ECUs and an air suspension?
