🚗 Routine Maintenance Matters - Don't wait for a breakdown!

Your vehicle doesn't always tell you when something is wearing out... until it does. And by then, a small maintenance can turn into a MUCH BIGGER repair bill (especially at today's costs).

🔥 Things like spark plugs, ignition coils, and spark plug wires are critical to keeping your engine running properly. Over time, worn or failing ignition components can cause:

- Rough running or misfires
- Hard start
- Poor acceleration
- Decreased fuel economy (and today's gas prices are not to play with!)

- Loss of power
- And if ignored long enough, potential damage to other components.

The spark plugs in these pictures are a perfect example of why routine maintenance is so important. The old plug is heavily worn and damaged compared to the new one. Engine rebuild in progress 🔧

This 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X MR is getting some serious attention here at Jaybirdz Garage.

This one is far from a simple bolt-on job. We're deep into an engine rebuild, with the 4B11 Turbocharged coming apart and going back together with upgraded components- including a Kinugawa turbo setup and supporting hardware.

Every detail matters when you're building an engine that needs to handle the demands of an Evo. From proper assembly and fitting to making sure the supporting systems are right, we're taking our time to do it right.

We're excited to see this one come together! Stay tuned for the finished product! 🔥

Another classic in the shop this week!

We had the pleasure of working on this beautiful 1988 Chevy Cheyenne V30 dually - and just look at this truck! 😍🔥

This old Chevy came in with a low fuel pressure issue. After diagnosing the problem, we found the dual fuel pumps needed to be replaced. Once the fuel pumps were installed, fuel pressure was restored and this classic was road ready again.
