Hey y'all! 🧳❤️ Got a suitcase collecting dust? You know that suitcase shoved in the back of the closet that hasn't seen a vacation in about 10 years? 😂

Well, we know some kids who could really use it.

Our A Real Bag for a Real Start drive is underway, and we're collecting new and gently used suitcases, travel bags and backpacks for children in Kentucky's foster care system.

These kids have enough to deal with without having to pack everything they own into a garbage bag.

It might just be an old suitcase to you, but it could mean a whole lot to a kid who needs it. ❤️

We've made donating easy with FIVE drop-off spots!

Hey y’all ❤️ I keep seeing these posts about “easy financing.” A lot of dealers make it sound simple — they just send you a link to their preferred lender and wait to see what happens.

But what happens when you don’t fit into that box?

Do they know how to pivot? Or do they just tell you no and move on?

Sometimes a “no” isn’t really a no. It just means you’re not talking to the right lender. Before anyone ever hits submit on an application, did they actually sit down and talk to you about your situation? Your budget? Your full picture? Or did they just send you a link and hope for the best?

It’s not always that they don’t care. A lot of times, they just don’t know any better. And that comes down to experience.

Real financing help means knowing what questions to ask and understanding that different lenders have different programs. It means looking at your whole life — not just asking what payment you want and throwing an application at the first lender they work
with.

If someone can’t explain your options or tell you about other lenders that might actually work better for you, they probably don’t have the experience to help when things get complicated.

Financing can be a lot less stressful when you’re working with someone who actually knows what they’re doing.

Hey y’all ❤️ Everybody communicates differently when they’re looking for a home. Some people want to text, some want to call, and some just want straight answers before they waste a whole day driving around looking at houses. I get that.

That’s why I don’t hit people with the “when can you come see me?” line the second they reach out. A lot of folks just want to know what things actually cost and if it’s even realistic for them before they start the whole process. They don’t want to spend their Saturday getting the runaround and hearing different numbers from every place they go.

Most people simply want to know:
✅ Is buying a home even possible for me?
✅ What would it actually cost?
✅ Can I qualify if my credit isn't perfect?
✅ What are my options?

Those are fair questions—and we're happy to answer them before you ever make the drive.

I love when people come in and see what we’re about, but I also know life doesn’t always work that way. Some people work late, some live a couple hours away, and some just aren’t ready to sit down face to face yet. That’s fine. We can start the conversation over the phone or through text and go from there.

We’re open on Sundays for a reason. We know life is busy, we try to make it as convenient as we can :)

Hey y’all ❤️ Let’s talk about manufactured home financing for a minute — especially those “in-house” lenders.

Financing a home isn’t one-size-fits-all. There are a lot of different programs out there, and if you explore them, you can sometimes save thousands and actually afford the home you really want.

Here’s the thing: Most of us (including me) aren’t finance experts. That’s why it’s so important to work with multiple lenders and understand their programs instead of just throwing your application at one place and hoping for the best.

What gets lost in all this is how personal buying a home really is. Your income, your credit, your debt, your goals — they’re all unique.

There are so many ways to put together a package, just pushing someone to “get pre-qualified” with one lender without knowing your full situation isn’t doing you any favors.

Experience matters.

I take the time to look at multiple options so we can find the best path for your family — not just the quickest or easiest one.

Our A Real Bag for a Real Start suitcase drive officially kicks off tomorrow, October 15th!

Y'all, imagine being a kid and having to pack everything you own into a garbage bag. Now imagine having to do that over and over again.

That's exactly why we're doing this.

From October 15 – December 15, we're collecting new and gently used suitcases, travel bags and backpacks for children in the foster care system.

And thanks to some pretty wonderful people, we've got FIVE drop-off locations ready to go!

Hey y’all ❤️ I’ve been thinking a lot lately about why I started The Mobile Home Chicks, and I wanted to share something real with you.
I opened this business on my own. No big investors, no deep-pocket backers, and no one using me as a front. It’s my name, my face, my money, and my reputation on the line every single day.

This wasn’t about chasing big money or jumping on some “gold mine” trend. My reasons were simple and genuine: People who want to become homeowners deserve a real opportunity — without all the games, hidden fees, and pressure.

When you buy from me, you are buying from ME. Not a big corporation. Not a “manager” or sales rep who has no actual stake in the game.

And honestly? That makes what I do feel really special.

What fills my cup more than anything is getting to talk to every single person who reaches out — whether they end up buying from me or not. I’m beyond grateful for every conversation. My goal is that when you leave, you have more knowledge, more clarity, and feel better equipped on your home-buying journey than when you first messaged me.

At the end of the day, I sleep better knowing I’m doing this for the right reasons. Helping real families take a real step toward homeownership — with honesty and transparency — is what makes all the hard work worth it.
