We had a very successful first track test today in our 2002 BMW M3 with S65 V8 + 7 speed DCT. Everything just worked, with the exception of the ABS - but we should have that fixed tomorrow.

We broke the Max2 class track record (in this heavy Max4 car) by 1.3 seconds, just messing around in traffic. Video to follow. 🥳

After two days and 25 dyno pulls we are ready to track test our S65 V8 + DCT swapped E46!

Getting ready to make dyno pulls with our S65 V8 swapped E46.

EDIT: The tuning portion proceeded fine, after some stumbles getting everything setup, which were on our end.

After about 12 pulls we seemingly killed the BMW alternator's voltage regulator, and it was showing higher than expected volage, which the computer was unhappy about.

So we had to shut down and head back to our shop, overnight parts from Japan (har!), and tomorrow we will repair the over-voltage issues we saw and get back to it.
