Nobody likes price increases, but with continued tariff confusion, an ongoing war, and metal prices through the ROOF this was inevitable. We are spreading the word so you can save that small amount of pain, if you act soon.

Vorshlag was one of the first shops to campaign a 5.0 powered S197 Mustang in both autocross and Time Trial starting in 2010, shortly after our custom ordered 2011 GT arrived. We learned a lot of things with this car, pushed the limits of tire fitment both with stock fenders than modified, had various aero setups, won a lot of events, set dozens of class track records, and even won a National Championship in it.

Vorshlag has built and serviced hundreds of S197 Mustangs since then and over the last 15 years we have refined our product offerings, spring rate choices, and other setup details. Need help with your S197? Reach out via email or phone and we are here to help. 😎

Wow! Have you ever seen an 18x12” wheel and 345mm tire on the front of an 86?!? Now you have! 🤣 After installing our “super camber” V3 plates on our FRS this meaty tire now fits under our front flare. We have more than enough room to clear the 315mm Yokohama with these Konig Helliograms now.

What’s better than a Vorshlag GD/86 camber plate? The new “super camber” versions! We are upgrading our J37 swapped FRS to these to shoot for -4.5 deg from camber which will help clear the new 18x12” front wheel!

Our crew recently took in a customer's 1989 Fox Mustang and built an all new set of Vorshlag camber plates, installed and built a new rear spherical upper shock mounts, then installed a set of Motion Control Suspension 1WNR adjustable motorsports dampers.

Shaun then drove the car at LS Fest Texas and experienced proper Motorsports dampers for the first time - it was a huge improvement! These are not the OEM length struts that most folks have used on these cars for the past 35+ years but shortened to work better with lowered ride heights and the popular SN95 spindle upgrade.

As such, the existing camber plate designs didn't fit correctly - as they are built to compensate for the "too long" struts, and are mounted above the towers with huge spacers and shaft adapters to make up for that. Which is why we made an all new camber plate that mounts under the strut tower, which removes the need for the Band Aid.

When we make a production run of these Fox camber plates we will tweak some finishes and such, but it will largely remain unchanged - and it will NOT work with the OEM length struts, as this is designed for motorsports dampers which are made shorter than the stock struts. Our new spherical rear shock mount likewise works to improve bump travel in the rear and removes a reliance on squishy rubber bushings.

I (Terry) was gone for a week hiking in Utah, and when I got back late Saturday night I immediately went out to the shop to see what the crew got accomplished on the two newest race car builds while I was gone, and it was a lot! On Sunday I shot some video, strung it together, and got it ready to upload this morning.

I whittled it down to 22 minutes, but in that I talk about the J37 FRS, the S65 E46, and even the 1988 Fox . I had even more that is on the cutting room floor, as they say. 😉

Took a few hours to upload and process, but its finally working. There are some audio issues in both the intro + outro because our wireless dual mic adapter is for an old iPhone port. I have a new one coming (USB-C) so this crap audio sections (that I had to blast up +7 dB) won't happen again. Apologies! 😁

Long overdue "This Week At Vorshlag" video focuses exclusively on two main project builds, our 2013 FRS with a Honda J37 V6 and our 2002 BMW E46 coupe with a...

We have been a dealer for AJ Hartman Aero since way back in 2012, and have used many of his 14" chord carbon fiber Fulcrum wings on many race cars since. This was the obvious choice for our S65 V8 + DCT swapped BMW E46 Time Attack car once again.

Of course we like to mount wings in unique ways here at Vorshlag, which might not work for the typical "kit" wing buyer. We designed and built these "C-pillar" thru-window wing uprights to fit swan neck mounts on the Fulcrum wing, which land on some structural parts of the back seat. We just CNC cut some massive wing end plates that were mounted today.

Why the holes in the top portion? Those are there to bleed off air from the "dirty" side of the wing. The bottom of the wing does the work, and needs a larger surface for air attachment at the ends. It also looks cool with a bunch of hexagons cut out. 😁

What's better than a 72" wide Nine Lives Racing wing kit? A 78" wide version! 😲

Our SCCA Max4 prepped J37 powered FRS ran its first Time Attack with a borrowed 72" wing from the Pontini Racing team, but now our custom ordered Magnum Length 9LR wing kit arrived and we're busy installing that. 😁
