Something interesting for those of you who have a Ford product with 4.6 motor. If you have a P0401 egr insufficient flow detected code and check engine light, it could have plugged passages in the egr plate or inlet.
Here are some pictures.
It requires removing the throttle body and air inlet housing to clean. Then reassemble.

A good friend and customer brought me her 99 Nissan pathfinder. It had died going down the road. This is what I found. The timing belt had broken. I replaced the timing belt, water pump, tensioner and she's running fine again.
