We're proud to welcome Richard Miles, founder of Miles of Freedom, to our Shoulder to Shoulder series at Ruthie's Cafe on August 28th from 10 AM to 2 PM.

Richard's story, nearly 15 years wrongfully incarcerated, led him to build MILES of Freedom, a nonprofit advancing public safety through education, empowerment, and equity for individuals, families, and communities impacted by incarceration.

Both of our organizations are built around the same core belief: individuals impacted by the justice system deserve real pathways to stability and dignity.

History was made in Dallas this summer, and we're so thankful to share it with you.❤️ 🧀

We served people from around the world at the FIFA World Cup games (FWC26Dallas), launched Shoulder to Shoulder, showed up on WFAA, celebrated Genesis Women's Shelter & Support's new South Dallas campus, soaked in the MLK mural right outside our doors, ate lots of grilled cheese, and threw more dance parties than we can count.
