Who remembers this guy?

Only women of a certain era will fully appreciate this.... True story.
A Michigan woman and her family were vacationing in a small New England town where Paul Newman and his family often visited.
One Sunday morning, the woman got up early to take a long walk. After a brisk five-mile hike, she decided to treat herself to a double-dip chocolate ice cream cone.
She hopped in the car, drove to the center of the village and went straight to the combination bakery/ice cream parlor. There was only one other patron in the store: Paul Newman, sitting at the counter having a doughnut and coffee.
The woman's heart skipped a beat as her eyes made contact with those famous baby-blue eyes. The actor nodded graciously and the star struck woman smiled demurely. Pull yourself together! She chides herself. You're a happily married woman with three children, you're forty-five years old, not a teenager!
The clerk filled her order, and she took the double-dip chocolate ice cream cone in one hand and her change in the other. Then she went out the door, avoiding even a glance in Paul Newman's direction.
When she reached her car, she realized that she had a handful of change but her other hand was empty. Where's my ice cream cone? Did I leave it in the store? Back into the shop she went, expecting to see the cone still in the clerk's hand or in a holder on the counter or something! No ice cream cone was in sight.
With that, she happened to look over at Paul Newman. His face broke into his familiar, warm, friendly grin and he said to the woman,
"You put it in your purse."

Charles Perkins has studied electrical training from Veejer Enterprises Inc and used this training to solve a problem with military combat vehicles in Afghanistan that he says will save lives. These combat vehicles could experience a problem that they can't accelerate in an emergency. He has solved the problem and wrote this letter to Vince.

Mr. Veejer I thought you might enjoy hearing how your training has helped me and American men and women in uniform. Currently, I am about to get a technical manual revised with a safety issue dealing with Automatic traction control (ATC). I am also trying to get my revision placed in PS magazine for the troops to read. I have read the 60 lesson course twice and also have studied your hands on trainer and the electrical shortcuts. We have corresponded before and this problem was my most challenging diagnostic problem ever but thanks to your training I have solved this complex problem. See attached for the main body of the issue currently I am in Afghanistan and the time zones will be different but you will find this to be very interesting. Below is a copy of my correspondence with the head TACOM leader. Your training has helped me to become the best electrical trouble shooter in Afghanistan and this is only one example out of dozens that I have solved to keep our war fighting mission going. The in-depth principle training with the laws of electricity has benefited me most not just your techniques but the understanding I have of electric circuits. And how do I get my Veejer patch?
