I chose to deliver a written statement because the case is active and I wanted to make sure my words and sentiments were clear. Though making a public statement carries risk, I believe exposing the mechanics of a flawed system is worth whatever individual repercussions I may face. The truth is, I don’t fear Goliath in any form — and I have the stamina to keep fighting.

The reason I choose to fight is simple: they expect us not to. They count on us allowing them to exercise dominance over us without resistance. It’s not in my blood to let that happen. I’ll go at it alone if I have to — but I hope you’ll join me. The one thing they fear is organic organization. So I ask you — not shame you — to join me in this fight.
