We were called out by Ringgold County Dispatch on Saturday morning for a combine roller recovery. Thankfully, the operator was not injured. This large machinery can be difficult to maneuver, and traveling on roadways comes with its own hazards.

We were called out for another combine winch-out! The operator was going over a crossing and due to all the rains the crossing had washed out under the culvert. Thankfully, he stopped before causing any damage and called Diversified Towing!

Our team was able to winch the combine out, and the operator was back to shelling corn in no time!

Saturday afternoon, we received a call for a combine stuck deep in the mud. After breaking chains multiple times trying to get it out, the farmer knew it was time to call in the professionals!

When our team arrived on scene, we made several attempts using our skid loader equipped with a winch box. However, the combine continued to sink into a previously buried hole on the farm.

After evaluating the situation, we determined that our 1150 rotator was the right equipment for the job. By carefully lifting the combine to break the suction of the mud, we were able to free it enough for our skid loader and winch box to pull it safely out.

Every recovery is different, and not every job calls for the same equipment. What never changes is our team’s dedication to answering the call and finding the safest solution when others need help.

✅ Recovery completed with no damage to the machine!

Did you know Diversified Towing does air cushion recovery?

We were called out by ISP on Saturday, 10-10-26, to I-80 eastbound at mile marker 113 to recover a fully loaded truck and trailer.

Our team winched the truck and trailer up the embankment using our 1150 rotator and V-100 with side pullers. Once we had it close to the roadway, we were able to use our air cushions to begin the lifting process of this fully loaded trailer. We then used our 1150 rotator and V-100 with side pullers to assist in uprighting the truck and trailer.

A huge thank-you to our recovery team for all their hard work over the last few weeks. This was our third rollover in five days!

Thank you to all our drivers, dispatchers, and families for working together and supporting one another through these long hours. It takes a team to get the job done!

We're proud to see Diversified Towing & Recovery featured in this week's Tow Industry Week / American Towman for one of our recent heavy-duty recoveries.

The article, “Keeping 44,000 Pounds of Salt on the Trailer,” takes a closer look at how our team recovered a severely damaged pneumatic trailer while keeping approximately 44,000 pounds of food-grade salt on board.

Instead of unloading the cargo along the interstate, our crew used the right combination of equipment, planning, and experience to stabilize the trailer and safely move it off the highway — helping reduce roadside exposure while keeping the customer's costs in mind.

We had a fun time joining the Osceola Fire Department for their Fire Fair! 🚒

Part two of this off-road recovery. The driver decided to unhook the trailer, so once we finished recovering the trailer, we had to go another 1/2 mile to retrieve the semi.

Once we got to the truck, we used our winch box to spin the truck around in the roadway, then winched it back 3/4 of a mile to the gravel road.

With all the heavy rain we've been getting, muddy roads can turn bad fast. If you find yourself stuck in the mud, don't make it worse trying to get yourself out. Give Diversified Towing a call.
