Another day, another track, sorry for the delay in posting. This past weekend was the seventh race weekend for my client Jackson… We attended the SCCA Majors races at Ozarks International Raceway in MO. This is a newer track opening in 2022 and the first time that we have attended a race here, what a course! It’s being compared to the Green Hell, Jackson called it a Hot Wheels track on steroids!
Jackson had his best weekend of the year, finishing P2 on Saturday, and P1 on Sunday… That makes, two first place and two seconds out of fourteen races with having two DNF’s included. Next race, we are back to Road America for the Cat Majors later this month. Stay tuned.

Another day, another track this weekend we are at beautiful and historic Hallett Motor Raceway in Oklahoma. My clients Jackson is running his fourth SCCA racr weekend in Spec Miata class. Yesterday he had a great run from dead last to in a 24 car field and drove to 13th before lossing brake padel and slid off into the mud :/ Today is a new day! He has qualified 15th and hopefully will finish in Top 10. Stay tuned.

Another day, another track last weekend at Motorsport Ranch in Cresson Texas with my client Jackson running a Spec Miata with SCCA Majors Tour. This was Jackson’s first race ever, and he Won on Saturday! Then on day 2 he finished 4th. Overall it was an exceptional weekend for Jackson! Another day, another track Day 1-2 Well I was scheduled yesterday to coach a client who just bought a C5 track/race car from G-Speed buttt, ice got in our way 😕 see photos below… Beautiful C5 by the way! Day 2, Much improved on track surface. First session was a little dicey on sticker DOT-R tires. Improved his best time by 4.63 seconds on 1.7ccw! Well done Zander! This gentleman is 6’5” tall and fits into a NA Spec Miata, yet looks like a race car driver! It’s amazing what AlpineStar can do for a racer!

Another day, another track Day 1 out today at Polar Prix at Motorsport Ranch Cresson TX. This morning started out at 21 degrees! 🥶 Crewing, Coaching and enjoying observing the young new talent in their first Spec Miata race. Another day, another track Day 1 yesterday out with Ivan and his first time at Circuit of the Americas! Beautiful Porsche Turbo S, man this car is so quick from point A to B!
