This Saturday is a special day – at the Spirit of Courage Gala, we’ll honor our four incredible Spirit of Courage honorees.

Today, we want to introduce you to Abby Robinson, one of those honorees.
Abby Robinson is a wife, mom, school nurse and childhood cancer survivor whose life has been touched by cancer from nearly every angle — but never defined by it.

Facing cancer again as an adult, Abby has met each step with honesty, humor, fierce determination and the unmistakable spirit of someone for whom cancer truly picked the wrong nurse.

Our Spirit of Courage countdown is on! This coming Saturday, we'll be golfing and hosting the Spirit of Courage Gala! It’s all happening to help make a difference in the lives of cancer patients in our community.

The festivities have already started – the Spirit of Courage Auction is live and open for bidding today!

Proceeds from the auction contribute to our goal of raising $175,000 during Spirit of Courage! We’ve got incredible items for you to bid on – there is art, an incredible Henry Doorly Zoo package, drinks to enjoy, accessories to wear, and so much more – you don’t want to miss out!

Kathy Racine’s cancer journey took a terrifying turn when what was expected to be a routine biopsy became a life-threatening emergency.

With honesty, humor, and remarkable courage, Kathy chose to keep moving forward — trusting her care team, facing uncertainty head-on and reminding us that courage is sometimes simply saying, “It is what it is,” and taking the next step.
